Diaster in Japan

On March 11 an earthquake and tsunami struck Japan. The earthquake was 8.9 magnitude. Japan was the most ready country for this. Even though they were ready the earthquake really damaged Japan.  The disaster overwhelmed the government in Japan. The worst  thing that has happen to Japan since World War 2 when bombs were dropped on Hiroshima. There have been over 7,500 people died. Also some parts of Japan are sinking.

The people in Japan are trying to find missing people. The American Red Cross are to help Japan in there time of need. Major League Baseball player Ichiro Suzuki donated 1.5 million dollars to his home country. In Japan they are trying to evacuate people in a 6 mile distinct from the nuclear power plant. They are checking people for radiation.

The nuclear power plants is heating up. He is releasing radiation. Now they are trying to evacuate people in the area. Since the tsunami and earthquake hit Japan the power plants started to heat up. They are suppose to be kept cool. The back up generator is messed up. Some parts already blew up.
